The guest speaker will be Professor Martin Birchall of University College London and UCLH. Professor Birchall is a distinguished laryngologist and head and neck surgeon. He performed the first laryngeal transplant in California, in 2010. He has been a medical adviser a patron of NALC for many years and has been an invaluable supporter as we have faced the challenge of losing our connection with Macmillan.
As well as reflecting on his involvement with NALC, Martin will be sharing his thoughts about future treatment options for cancer of the larynx.
